Table 6 Revised

Recommended Minimum Information Services Staffing Levels

ASLA-ALIA Revised Table 6 Working Party, a sub-group of the School Library Advisory Committee, worked tirelessly for eighteen months reviewing Table 6: Recommended minimum information services centre staffing from Learning for the future: developing information services for schools 2nd ed. a joint publication shared by ASLA and Australian Library and Information Association [ALIA]. The Working Party comprised equal representation from both associations ASLA and ALIA.

The Working Party reviewed the table, its notes and supporting preamble to ascertain appropriate figures and formulae, its relevancy and currency, including some rewording and amendments as well as a re-design of the Table.

It is document of very high professional standard and is now available to all members of the school library community through both the ASLA and ALIA website.
