School libraries are powerful catalysts for teaching, learning, and whole-school improvement. Katie explores how intentional professional learning can strengthen the role of the school library by aligning library initiatives with your school's vision, strategic priorities, and learning goals.

Discover how purposeful professional learning enables school library staff to lead change, build collaborative partnerships with teachers, and enhance student outcomes in reading, information literacy, digital citizenship, and inquiry learning.

Katie will also explore time-oriented professional learning approaches, including professional learning communities, instructional coaching, collaborative planning, action research, reflective practice, and professional networks. All actions that support continuous growth and position the school library as an essential partner in school improvement.

    • Library assistants and support staff aspiring to leadership
