Bio: Dr. Stephanie Smith is a dedicated advocate for education and learning, with a particular focus on play-based learning, student voice, learner agency and media literacy. In her role as the Learning Manager at the Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD), Steph is committed to fostering an innovative and student-centric approach to education. She leads a dynamic team of educators in the creation and implementation of engaging programs, resources, and professional development aimed at supporting students and teachers nationally. She has a particular focus on empowering young people to be active participants in our democracy, as well as supporting the development of their critical thinking skills. Steph aims to nurture the next generation's leadership potential, foster solution-based thinking, and cultivating robust media literacy skills.

This webinar is aimed toward primary teachers, however effective teaching strategies often apply across different contexts, making the content valuable for anyone involved in education.
