Advocacy is an essential part of the role of Teacher Librarian and library staff. Join us as we discuss advocacy in our school libraries and strategies for approaching the leadership of the school and wider school community.

Completing ‘Advocacy - ways to engage leadership in professional discussion’ will contribute 1 hour of NESA registered PD addressing Standards 3.6.2, 6.2.2, 6.3.2 & 7.4.2 the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

All participants who register for the webinar receive one month access to the recording and slides. Attending the live event will be counted as one hour accredited NESA (NSW) Professional Development. From one month after the event the webinar will be available to purchase on the ASLA Website Store. This will then become a teacher identified professional development.

All live attendees receive a certificate of participation.

All NESA registered members will have the hour accredited to their etams platform.
