Description

The National Library of Australia is the largest resource of materials relating to Australia and the Australian people in the world. Its vast and valuable collections have huge potential for educational use. But how do we make sure there is a presence beyond our physical location in Canberra? In this session Ben will outline programs and resources such as the Digital Classroom, which are easily accessible from schools and remote classrooms (whatever shape they take), designed specifically for teachers and students, and linked to the Australian Curriculum. Following the webinar, attendees will have a solid understanding of the National Library and the ways in which it supports learning, research and understanding. This webinar meets the standards 2.2, 3.4 & 6.3, from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher status.
