In an age where digital tools and AI are reshaping educational landscapes, libraries hold a unique position to foster a creative and engaging learning environment. This presentation will explore the innovative integration of AI capabilities and Canva’s Magic Media into library services to enhance student learning and creativity. Participants will delve into practical strategies for using Canva to empower students to design captivating and professional-looking book covers, presentations, and other educational materials.

About the presenter: Jake has dedicated two decades to teaching across five continents, bringing a wealth of global perspectives to his current role as a Digital Learning Leader at Pymble Ladies' College. Here, he combines his passion for technology with innovative educational strategies to make learning not only engaging but truly enjoyable. Whether he's guiding Kindergarteners in creating art with Spheros or taking Year 9 students on a virtual tour of the International Space Station, Jake's teaching approach is always about enriching the educational journey through the thoughtful integration of digital tools and platforms
