Frequently Asked Questions

Can i Continue my current membership?

Yes! You don't need to take any action if you want to continue with your current membership.

If you change your mind later (e.g., at renewal time) just contact us by email.

I’ve already paid for a membership this year. Can I switch to the bundle?

Yes. You can choose to cancel your membership and take up the bundle option instead. While refunds are not available, joining the bundle may provide future budget savings for your school.

Do I still have full ASLA membership rights in the bundle?

You have access to all professional learning and member resources, but LibTAS members do not have voting rights.

What if I move to a different state?

Your LibTAS bundle membership will end. Please contact ASLA to discuss other membership options available to you.

What if I’ve had an ASLA profile in the past?

Before contacting us, please:

- Log in to your ASLA profile and ensure your contact details are up to date.

- Include your ASLA User ID (from your profile) and email a join request to us.

Renewals & Membership Changes

• Renewal is managed through the LibTAS bundle. No separate action is required unless you leave your role.

• If you move interstate or into a role outside DECYP Libraries Tasmania, please contact ASLA to discuss other membership options.

What if I'm not eligible?

This bundle is not available to independent schools, tertiary institutions, or staff outside the DECYP TAS system.

People/Schools not eligible for the LibTAS Bundle are welcome to join ASLA directly here.
