Part 1   School and Library Information

The Working Party between Australian Library and Information Association [ALIA] Schools and the Australian School Library Association [ASLA] is currently updating Table 6: Recommended Minimum Information Services Centre Staffing from Learning for the future: developing information services in schools 2nd ed.

Assistance is required in obtaining some baseline data about school libraries in Australia. This data will be used to identify a national overview of similarities and differences within school settings and education sectors.

You are invited to participate in a short survey which should take approximately 10 minutes.

Part 1 includes school and library background information. Part 2 outlines staffing in your school library. To establish the full time equivalent [FTE] teaching staff and FTE ancillary or support staff please visit your school’s entry on the My School website.
