ASLA Citation Award

The ASLA Citation Award is made for an outstanding contribution to the national leadership of teacher librarianship in the following professional fields.

  • Policy formulation
  • Programme implementation
  • Publication
  • Administration of the Association
  • Research
  • Innovation
  • Education (interpreted in broad terms)

Nominations are called through the ASLA National Council, represented by each Member Association, and is advertised in the national journal, Access, at least four (4) months prior to the Biennial Conference.

Previous ASLA Citation awardees: Anette Ainsworth, 2009 -- Lyn Hay, 2007 -- Bev Blackwell, 2005 -- Ruth Jones, 2003 -- Karen Bonanno, 2001

The award shall be presented at the Biennial Conference
